There are 3 types of ski jackets for kids - insulated, shell, and 3-in-1 kids. The most common kids ski jacket in an insulated jacket. They are waterproof, warm, and durable. Shell jackets are waterproof and windproof, but do not has insulation. The 3-in-1 ski jacket is more versatile. There is a shell jacket with an inner insulated liner zipped in. Kids ski jackets are specifically made for skiing and snowboarding, offering more durability than jackets from a department store.

Kids Ski Pants
There are different styles of kid’s ski and snowboard pants – insulated, bib, and shell. Insulated ski pants are the most common. They are waterproof and have an inner liner for warmth. Kids bib ski pants have more protection and warmth. They cover more of the body, like overalls. Kids shell ski pants are not as popular as insulated pants and bibs. They are made to fit over a base layer and are thinner than insulated pants. You can also add suspenders to kid's ski pants for more security.
